As a chord with equal distant intervals, ALL four voicings of the diminished seventh chord are the same.

ANY one of the notes in the chord of a diminished chord can be the root.

The above info and knowing the notes of the ukulele fingerboard are all that is needed for this chord to transpose it to different keys.

Read in a Jazz Arranging books that I have — that, there are over 48 possible names for any diminished chord (dim7, to be exact)

In most cases, you might think that you are playing a Diminished chord — but in fact you're most likely playing a Diminished Seventh (dim7) chord.
