Bozo the Bear and Dan Haggerty starred in The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams television series.
Bozo the Bear was born in 1960. She was an actress, known for The Legend of Black Thunder Mountain (1979) and The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams (1977). She died on January 8, 1999 in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
She was raised from infancy at Sunset Zoo in Manhattan, Kansas. At the age of six months, she was obtained by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leonard of Kansas, who trained her to perform in animal acts. After being featured in 1966's The Night of the Grizzly, she was obtained by Lloyd Beebe of Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Washington, who owned her until her death in 1999. She became famous as 'Ben' on The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams film and TV series.
