With the ukulele's Third Craze

It gets increasingly hard to keep up with all the ukulele clubs sprouting up around the world and get them listed here on LearningUkulele.com and Learning Ukulele with Curt. There is bound to be a group of like-minded ukulele fans, players near you. A quick Internet search should yield some results.

Berkeley Ukulele Club
The Berkeley Ukulele Club is an active community of ukulele players, musicians and singers from all over the San Francisco Bay area. We have our big meetups on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month in Berkeley, California and smaller neighborhood jams throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in between. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned player, please join us twice a month to share songs, techniques and music and uke talk. There are no dues or membership. Just show up and have fun. Jumpin' Flea Circus Players of Los Angeles Uke Club
We play only the best selection of music, from the 1920s to the 2020s. I’m talking GREAT songs. KOLOHE has performed at the Southern California Ukulele Festival, the Tiki Beach Fest in Belmont Shore, the Asian & Pacific Islander Councle Banquets, the San Dimas Ho‘Olaule‘a, Aloha-Cruz Island Beach Shows, for many‘a Lu`au, Halau performances, festivals, & other functions.
Napa Valley Flea Jumpers
The Napa Valley Flea Jumpers (or “Wine Country” Flea Jumpers, depending on the day or week) is a loosely knit group of ukulele enthusiasts who get together once a month to drink wine, eat pupus, enjoy each other’s company, and play our ‘ukuleles. We meet anywhere they’ll have us, generally on the last Sunday of the month. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us…if you can find us. Turlock Uke Jamz
Turlock Uke Jamz is not a club or group. There are no dues. There is nothing to join. Just show up and have a good time. However, we do, and will, ask for donations to cover the cost of our meeting place.

KookeeUkies, The Ukulele Club of Southern Connecticut, is a group of ukulele players of all ages . Boynton Delray Uke Society

East Pasco/Hernando Ukulele Club

Waikiki Ukulele Club
This club meets at Queen Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. We meet every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11;30 a.m. At the present time, there are no dues and membership is open to all non-professional players regardless of skill level, age, etc. There is a fee for those who wish to purchase the songs that are distributed at our sessions.
We play and sing many types of music. Hawaiian melodies make up about 25% of our song book.

Louisville Ukulele Club
The Louisville Ukulele Club (L.U.C.) is open to ukulele players, aficionados, collectors, and the uke-curious. Meetings are held at the Douglass Community Center, 2nd Floor 6pm-8:30pm every last Weds. of the month. The L.U.C. is open to amateurs, professionals, and all those in between. Bring your ukulele and spread the word!
The Strumdingers of Shreveport
The Strumdingers Ukulele Band was organized in 2007 by Musician, Singer and Uke Player, David Mathews. We are an open organization devoted to the education and enjoyment of ukulele music. We practice (weekly), play (for anyone who will listen), and perform (often) for area assisted living facilities, nursing homes, church groups, and for people who know that music makes for a happy soul.
Upper Valley Ukulele Club
We’re a fairly new club (started April 2010), with a focus on having fun and becoming better musicians. We are starting to build a song repertoire, with the eventual goal of performing in pubic. Las Cruces Ukes
The Las Cruces Ukes, a non-profit community group of ukulele enthusiasts, meet every week to hone our skills, prepare for performances, and have a good time playing the ukulele. Practices are Thursday evenings with a Strum for Fun group at 5:15 and the Performance Group at 6:30. We also host a Kids Club and a Teen Club.
Cal Mum Uke Club
The Cal-Mum Uke Club is comprised of 5th graders at Caledonia-Mumford Elementary School, a public school in New York State. Students attend one day after school and during lunch time to practice and record songs that are available on our club’s web page. Students perform as an ukulele group with the band and chorus throughout the school year.
RIT Ukulele Club
The RIT Ukulele Club was founded November '12 by several ukulele enthusiasts who have worked diligently to play, compose, and teach ukulele music to musicians of all skill levels. During the year, we can be found playing around campus, rehearsing for a performance, or partaking in other social activities together.
Greater Charlotte Ukulele Meetup
We are a growing, informal group of ukulele players in the greater Charlotte area who periodically get together and play our ukes. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to join, regardless of experience, weâ're just looking to have a great time. Even if you're just curious about the ukulele but haven’t started playing yet, feel free to swing by and get to know what we're all about. Membership in the group is free but you need to buy your own drinks :)
Coalition of Union-County Ukuleles
CU-CU, the Coalition of Union-County Ukuleles, is open to the community, welcoming young and young at heart! (Any age--preferably 4th grade up because of the motor skill thing!) We meet at the La Grande Forestry and Range Science Lab, 1401 Gekeler Lane on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. CU-CU is a positive way to share your love of music with like-minded people of different backgrounds and ages. The ukulele is a popular instrument that takes little investment to get started. The ukulele is ideal for its portability, ability to play melody and harmony, sounds great in groups or alone, and is FUN to play!
Portland Ukulele Association (PUA)
PUA meets on the fourth Sunday of each month from 1 - 3 p.m. All levels are welcome - join-in any month. Instruction for beginners is available at each gathering (loaner ukuleles are available for the curious). Occasionally guest teachers drop in to play and teach songs. Discover the joy and laughter of group ukulele playing.
Salem Ukulele Strummers
Meeting in Salem, Oregon USA. Check out the SUSA site for monthly meeting information, reference articles, downloadable tools, song sheets (WITH AUDIO!), and more. Visit the “Uke‘aholics” section for information about weekly jams and learning opportunities. SUSA’s “Hui o Koke’e” group sings and plays traditional and popular island songs during the summer.
Ukulaneys (Ukulele Club Of Lane County)
The Ukulaneys meet the last Friday of most months at 7:00 pm at the Washington Park Community Center 2025 Washington St. in Eugene, Oregon. We welcome all ukulele players. We also host the Eugene UKEtoberFest... an annual event held at University of Oregon with workshops, concerts and jamming.
Funky Frets Ukulele Meetup
Funky Frets is the `ukulele home of Curt & Bernadette Sheller and their daughter Kelly. A true Mom and Pop or as our grandson TJ might say “Mom Mom and Pop-o” music store specializing in All Things Ukulele.
Curt has written and published over 30 books for ukulele. Curt also maintains his personal, very popular web site curtsheller.com with over 400 ukulele lessons, links and resource to builders, luthiers, festivals, clubs, manufactures, fellow musicians and a lot more. Curt has performed and presented ukulele workshops at various `ukulele festivals our the USA.
This meetup group is for ukulele get togethers, jams, workshops and concert announcements. As well as any great `ukulele related events we can host at the store.

Philadelphia Main Line Ukulele Group
This Meetup Group gives all players, no matter what the experience level the chance to learn from one another and jam with each other. This Meetup will be held in the Western Suburbs of Philadelphia in the Wayne, PA general vicinity. So if you’re close by, love the Uke and looking for some good folks to play with, please sign up and all of the details will follow. We will play a wide variety of music from old standards from the 20’s and 30’s, Hawaiian Music, Classic Rock, Modern Pop, Country, Punk, Reggae and anything else that is of interest. We need singers as well. So if you like to sing please join the group. We can also add some guitar players and bass players. Kazoo, bell, drum and percussion folks always welcome! South Street Ukulele Club
Hang out and play the ukulele with fellow enthusiasts in a brand new, ukecentric shop on the legendary South Street. This is a great way to make new friends, learn the uke and create music in a fun, relaxed environment. Feel free to invite your percussion loving friends and do not hesitate to sing! We will collectively decide on themed nights, whether it be decade, genre, etc and uke on til the break of dawn (not really, but at least into the evening)!
Steel City Ukuleles
Steel City Ukuleles promotes fellowship, entertainment, performance and education among ukulele enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings of each month, meeting at 6:45 to tune up and talk, playing from 7 to 9 pm. Our meeting place is Wilkins School Community Center, 7604 Charleston Avenue at the intersection of Milton Avenue in Regent Square, right off Parkway East. On-street parking. After we play and make announcements, we jam song-circle style. The setting is friendly and informal with no commitment required — just bring your uke and join us. We encourage solo play for advanced players, open mic.
West Philly Uke Club
We are a monthly ukulele meetup which focuses on having a good time in a low pressure environment while also learning and progressing on our instruments and in our lives. Members of all levels, backgrounds, ethnicities, and genders are welcome.
Members of the West Philly Uke Club are encouraged to contribute as much as they’d like in song choices, arrangement options, and song-leading.

Classic Ax
The Classic Ax is a full service guitar repair shop. Including refinishing and customizing we are located in the Heart of Nashville on Music Row. We also repair banjo’s, mandolin’s and other stringed instruments. (Oh ya, and the occasional Accordion) We have been providing Nashville with this type of service since 1981 Classic Ax an Authorized repair center for most brands of string instrument, also has special techniques for Martin Guitars.
Padre Island Uke Club
A group of Padre Island people passionate about playing their ukuleles and singing together. The group meets every Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM. Beginners play together from 6 to 7. The more advanced players play from 7 to 8. Both groups perform in public and always on a voluntary basis. It’s all about having fun and continuing to learn. Everyone is welcome. Loaner ukes available. Let us know a week in advance that you need a uke and we’ll have one waiting for you.
Utah Ukulele Association
The Utah Ukulele Association is a group for those interested in playing the ukulele and in promoting all things to do with the ukulele in the state of Utah. The Utah Ukulele Association is open to all ages and all skill levels of ukulele players. We meet together once and sometimes twice a month to jam and socialize.
Bellingham Ukulele Group (BUG)
A large group of ukulele players dedicated to networking and playing together while promoting all things ukulele. We bring in well known professional uke players to teach workshops and give concerts in our community. We have a wide range of skill levels so we encourage each other, learn from each other, and continue to grow in our abilities. We meet on the first Saturday of the month, from 11 AM-1 PM, in the downstairs social hall of the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship. All skill levels and styles of play are welcomed. Bring your music stands and ukes. Music is provided.
Ukulele Players of the Palouse (U POP)
U POP is a loose network of people around the Palouse that play or want to play the ukulele. We currently set a get together date of the last Thursday of the month. We meet from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Simpson United Methodist Church in Pullman,Washington. Everyone is welcome; all ages and levels of playing ability.
Ukuleles Unite!
Our mission is to spread joie d’ukulele to East Jefferson County ... and beyond. The group was George’s big idea, and he enlisted the help of Bruce and Germaine. At the first meeting in October, 2011, we had 70 people, and we thought … “Now what?!” It’s been a lot of fun finding out!
