Curt's Personal Cable Recommendations

Here are LearningUkulele.com and Learning Ukulele with Curt we only use the Analysis Plus, Evidence Audio Lyric HG, and Mogami Pro instrument cables. High-end cables that deliver the true sound of your ukulele and/or guitar.

I've have several Klotz and Planet Wave cables around the studio but the Evidence Lyric HG, Analysis Plus, and Mogami cables are my first choices for performance.

Note: You might notice that there are not a lot of cables listed on this page. I've only shown high quality cables that I have and do use or come highly recommended by fellow musicians.

Wireless Recommendations: Shure BLX14R Wireless Guitar System Rack-mount Guitar System or Shure GLXD16 Wireless Guitar Pedal System • w/Built in tuner.

Why Spend So Much for an Instrument Cable?

You’ve spent a good bit of money on a quality instrument, audio gear, pedals and amplifiers. So, why go cheap on one of the main links in your sound chain.

You WILL be amazed at what a difference a good quality instrument cable can do. I thought it didn't make a difference – but it does. On this page are listed quality instrument cables, and they do make a difference. There is a line from one of the cable companies that sums it up. If you can't hear the difference, you don't need it.

For higher-end, quality cables I recommend Analysis Plus, Evidence Audio, Mogami or the NEW LUXE by Martin . I also recommend more affordable cables from Klotz, Monster, and Planet Waves, I use these in the teaching studios and the Funky Frets Music Store for customers to try out gear.
