Navigating the C Major Scale - Low G

The first lesson on Navigating the C Major Scale did not include string four when using C Tuning - High G. I mentioned that mastering the positions and scale using strings three, two and one would set you up for expanding any position to the lower string four.

Navigating the C Major Scale - Low G

With the ukulele’s ability to play notes in alternate locations along the fingerboard this scale can be played in different positions.

Every Finger Every String

Ultimately you should able to play any note using any finger. A great way to explore the fingerboard is to start on every note of a scale and play all available notes in that position ( vertical across the strings ) or along the strings ( horizontally ).

With the lessons we start our exploration of the Every Finger, Every String concept using the C Major Scale and starting on each note of the scale along string three , playing all available notes in a four or five fret span
