228 song lessons have been posted since the series was first tackled, starting March 2023. With 365 songs in the Yellow Book, there are still a few more song lessons to be posted for the series.
And there are far too many chord shapes to memorize. And you shouldn't memorize them. You memorize a few core, basic often–used shapes and build the rest on the fly. And that is just what my teacher, Chuck Anderson, said when, in a lesson, I said How do you memorize all the shapes?
It's all about organizing your chord vocabulary in a system for instant recall when performing. And creating chords on the fly that you haven't played before based on ones you already know. The instructions are in the chord name.
