UKE Republic was started by the love of music and one particular little 4 stringed instrument. Seeing a need to supply quality and affordable ukuleles in a wide variety of choices, owner Mike McQueen and his wife Donna, started UKE Republic. With passion and applying that old adage, "do one thing and do it well" we dedicated our business to being exclusive to the ukulele - giving it the respect and attention it deserves. UKE Republic started out selling ukuleles online in 2007 as demand grew we felt the need to open a showroom. So, in April of 2012 we found the perfect place just as unique as the ukuleles we sell.
