The Guitar Hospital was founded in 1967 by Dan Erlewine who later went on as Research and Development consultant for Stewart-MacDonald and the repair columnist for Guitar Player Magazine. Bryan Galloup who apprenticed and worked with Dan in the early 80s took the business over and continued to teach repair and restoration.
